Featuring divine local diva Anja Strauss and two of our wonderful woodwind players--Tod Brody, flute and Peter Lemberg, oboe--master J.S. Bach and his wayward "son" P.D.Q. are represented on our final concert series of the season. Michael Gilbertson is a rising young composer, whose Concertino for Oboe and Strings will be given it's well-deserved West Coast premiere. Noted American composer Dominic Argento's lyrical mini-masterpiece brings a 20th-century sensibility to six lovely 16th-century songs. And just who is this P.D.Q. Bach? Come and find out, if you dare!
