Notes
Chevalier
de St. Georges, nicknamed the “black Mozart”, was an
accomplished
statesman, athlete, and musician in 18th century Paris.
Eleanor Alberga, Valerie Coleman and Wayne Wallace
are accomplished 21st century performers and composers
whose wonderful music reflects their diverse backgrounds.
Two world premieres, two top-notch young soloists, and a cameo
appearance by the “real” Mozart make this a wide-ranging and
fascinating program .
