Our final concert of the season celebrates Brahms’ 175th Anniversary with his joyful Serenade No. 2. Also on the program is a seldom-heard chamber music masterpiece by Beethoven (Septet) and our second world-premiere of the season: San Francisco’s own Belinda Reynolds has written a new work for us entitled “Bridges”. As always, FRESH, FUN, FIRST-CLASS… AND FREE!
Musically yours,
-Music Director

A seldom-heard chamber music masterpiece by Beethoven leads the parade of B’s in this reduced-violin program. Eclectic and electrifying Belinda Reynolds follows with a brand new "Serenade", inspired by Brahms’ superb "Serenade #2". This concert, filled with woodwinds and lower strings, will warm your heart and soothe your soul... trust me, you won’t miss the fiddles at all! And a happy 175th birthday to you, Herr Brahms
